This comes with upsides and downsides. Population is fantastic, but there's also a little more lag then you may typically find on another server, and there are issues from time to time with the database. As far as leveling up socially, I don't think any other server does it better then AB. Nope, one week, 1-80. It's do-able when you have other level 80's already (getting a bonus to experience) as well as have raid geared characters helping you out, and have 5 years worth of potions to /claim, hehe. I would just run around the towns randomly handing out these pouches to everyone I saw and wishing them all the best during the holidays. Level from 1 to 80 in a week?! ... or am I wrong in assuming that when you said new, you meant level 1? I really want to play some Eq2 again, thanks to your posts and tweets. So far the only thing the Aion launch has done s make me excited to play games I already own, but haven't played in a while. :) Are you playing your ranger on the Antonia Bayle server, or a different one? Would you recommend Antonia Bayle to a player who was interested in raising a character in a very social way ( guild/pugs )?
