I am still worried that we may lose the world of PvE gaming thanks to so many players wanting the "ZERG" effect...(kill, kill, kill) of PvP.
But, as always, you enlighten us with a great piece on an alternate way to game....thank you

Diplomacy is just really a cool system, and if Vanguard can keep progressing in it's overall systems, the game could be really fun someday.

Here is to hoping all PvE is not lost.

In EQ2 they try to make the story come alive with books and exposition quests, and sometimes it works... more often it doesn't. Like the first time we ran through Obelisk of Blight, and the lore was lost on me in the mad rush to kill things. I'd imagine most raid zones are the same way, but of course it all depends on how open your eyes are for it. Books are something that are easily ignored, and I think unfortunately that is what many people do.

Diplomacy is really exciting, it's something that sets Vanguard apart from other games and I can't wait to see how it plays into the world beyond the Isle of Dawn. Gotta go polish my strategy to prepare for it!

I recall really like the diplomacy story for the dark elves. I played thought it back when the game first came out, and had more fun doing that then leveling or crafting. I might have to check it out again sometime to see if the others are as good.
