You know…I asked Tipa, and I will ask you…how are you feelings about the progress Vanguard has made. Do you believe April will be the right time to buy? Should we wait longer?
I have been interested,.,but as Tipa stated…if you play EQ2…not too much is different here.
Also, what are you running for a system, and how does it run Vanguard…lots of crashes? or just the weird bugs..
    Good pictures also…thanks for sharing

I’ve been playing Vanguard off and on since release, I played beta as well.

It’s mad a TON of progress since release.

I don’t think it will be good enough in April to bring back any more players unless they push for at least character model revamps. There’s plenty that needs fixing.

I don’t crash in Vanguard at all, just the weird bugs are all I notice from time to time. I used to crash at release, but I haven’t in a good long while.
My opinion on the game itself varies from Tipa’s, I think there’s a LOT of differences, ranging from classes (blood mage anyone) to crafting (which is so damn complicated it’s refreshing) and the fact that they’ve decided not to baby up the game (we still have to go get our corpses).

I run it on an Intel Core 2 CPU 6400 2.13GHz with 2gigs of ram and a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT.

The world is giant, it feels like a world vs. lots of little zones you have to zone to (EQ2) but again, there’s still lots of little bugs, small annoyances, ugly as ever character models, and if these are not fixed, they’ll just re-release and sink again.
